Recommended equipment

List of personal things and equipment for participation in the active trips

1. Rucksack (or travel bag for all kinds of a trip except walking)
2. Money and documents
3. Clothing and footwear:
- jacket protecting from wind and rain (it may be a raincoat or a cloak for a water trip);
- warm clothes, hat, boots (mostly for spring and autumn period and mountaineering);
- warm clothes, cap, sneakers (for summertime);
- sports clothes;
- bathing suits;
- diving suit or a set of woollen clothing (for rafting on the Cheremosh river);
- underwear;
- shorts;
- T-shirts (with long and short sleeves);
- socks (several pairs of thin and thick socks);
- dry clothes for the case of getting wet;
- footwear:
- for water trips - lightweight shoes „for water" in summer (open-toe sandals, trainers for stony river-bed) or warmer ones for spring - autumn (socks from diving suit, trainers or rubber boots for cold water);
- for walking trips - sturdy and comfortable boots with a hard sole (tracking);
- for speleological trips - boots or trainers for trips in caves.
4. Kitchen ware (when eating in the open air): a knife; a bowl; a spoon; a cup; a thermos flask (it is advisable to have everything made of metal).
5. Toilet stuff: a towel; soap; toothbrush and toothpaste; toilet paper etc.
6. Plastic bags (for water trips): 2 big ones (for protection of rucksack and stuff from getting wet).
7. Individual first-aid kit;
8. Glasses and sunscreen cream;
9. Mosquito repellent cream (is used very rarely);
10. We recommend to bring with you: a camera/video; a fishing tackle; matches; a needle with thread; a pocket flashlight; binoculars; a watch.

It is forbidden:

- To use open flame, candles and to smoke in the tents;
- To stay in the tent with the shoes on;
- To use tourist mats and sleeping bags outdoors;
- To leave your personal equipment without supervision (also for the night).
The responsibility for provided equipment preserving lies on the participant of a trip. Persons who are not sober will not be allowed to pass the active sections of the route.
